Waterra Tubing
Waterra Polyethylene Tubing can be used with the Waterra Pump System (see Foot Valves), stainless steel / engineered plastic submersible pumps, and peristaltic pumps for groundwater sampling. Waterra tubing is available in both Low-Density (LDPE) and High-Density (HDPE).
- LDPE is the most popular tubing choice for use in shallow monitoring wells. LDPE tubing is more flexible than HDPE and is less likely to develop a kink.
- HDPE provides the best performance in deeper groundwater monitoring wells because of it’s rigidity. The stiffness of this material produces better flow rates and greater lifts.
